SOS Medical and Ambulance Emergency Services is a private medical company that offers private daily medical care, occupational healthcare medical services and emergency ambulances services 24 h/24, 365 days a year in Bucharest, Romania.

Between 1998 and 2004, the Romanian health system changed and improved dramatically. We are proud that SOS was the instrument in creating some of the changes. SOS created a new benchmark and upgraded the understanding of what professional services mean, as customer service remains the priority next to high medical standards.

SOS was the trademark in use from the initial establishment of the company until the end of 2003. In 2003, the owners of SOS bought shares in MediHelp International, a small enterprise that specialized in selling Medical Insurance to ex-patriots living abroad.

As a result, we were of the opinion that the name SOS Medical and Ambulance Emergency Services no longer suited the full scale of activities of the group.

This led to the decision to alter the trademarks of the names and services as follows: Emergency Services will be presented by the icon: SOS Medical & Ambulance Emergency Services , Daily HealthCare and Occupational HealthCare will be presented by the icon: LifeStyle Health Centres, MediHelp Medical Assistance and Insurance will be presented by the icon: MediHelp International .

The above TRIO will be called from now on SOS MEDICAL GROUP.
